"It's pretty clear that people have decided Kathleen Wynne and the Liberals are not going to form government next time around", said NDP Leader Andrea Horwath.
Ontario's opposition parties seemed to write off the governing Liberals almost halfway through the province's election campaign, as new polls suggest the Progressive Conservatives and the New Democrats are tied for the most support.
"I know the real Doug Ford", she said. "Absolutely not", Wynne said at a campaign stop on Toronto's waterfront.

"So she is saying she would take that tool off the table", she said. Asked about the allegations, Horwath highlighted Riaz's years of work as an interfaith advocate.
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath was in Whitby on Thursday to talk about her party's plans for long-term care in the province.

Liberal campaign co-chair Deb Matthews says paying for someone else's membership could violate election laws against making secret donations and possibly put someone over the donation cap.
Ford says his party has been responsible about putting a dollar figure behind each campaign pledge.
